We are followers of Jesus Christ. Our church history was inspired by the New Testament account of the day of Pentecost. Thus, Impact Pentecostal Fellowship COGIC was formally organized on May 6 2008 under the dynamic and visionary leadership of the Reverend Dr. Solomon Iyobosa Omo-Osagie II whom God raised, saved, shaped, filled with His Holy Spirit, and appointed to lead His people to Impact the world with the Word.
We are believers of the Power that was spoken of in Acts 2:1-4. This Power was intended to Impact and transform the lives and hearts of them that have received the Holy Ghost.
We are believers of the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:16-20. It was a charge for them to make every effort to spread the Good News about His authority both in the heavens and the earth. The disciples were to go and “make disciples” of people everywhere. A disciple is a follower. We are then to go out and bring others to follow Him.
We are followers of Jesus Christ who accepted and embraced the Charge to go out into the world and bring souls into the kingdom of God. .
We are followers of Jesus Christ who do not judge or condemn people. We accept that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and that we are all pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). It is through constant prayer and supplications to the Lord that we can fight and prevail over the temptations of this world.
We are a body of believers who share a common passion for seeking and knowing Jesus Christ for ourselves so that we would be ready to meet Him upon His return to take the Saints back to Heaven. We do this through pointed and practical teaching and preaching of the Word by our very dedicated, dynamic, anointed, and humble man of God, the Reverend Dr. Omo-Osagie.
We are progressive but grounded in traditional Pentecostal Holiness values as taught and written about in the Holy Bible.
We are a body of believers who are genuinely devoted to making a lasting Impact on the lives of people through the Word and our lifestyles that showcase faith, God’s glory, grace, peace, and mercy on those who diligently seek Him.
We are a body of believers who do not profess to have exclusive right to salvation. At Impact Pentecostal Fellowship Church of God In Christ, we believe that salvation comes from Jesus Christ by faith and therefore look to Him for our salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11). We believe that this same salvation is available to those who ask for it.
